"Mister Blake Woods, we're from the Department of Fiscal Crimes. Your company was found to be faking transactions and having abnormal cash flow. Please come with us for further investigation," another man in a uniform said.

Just then, Blake's entire body gave out as he was carried away.

The appearance of both groups of people shocked everyone as well.

Wasn’t that too much of a coincidence?

Everyone stared at Faye, who was elegantly in her seat sipping her champagne.

They immediately understood that everything had been orchestrated by this woman. How else would the authorities have shown up right on time?

Wilbur smiled and walked up to Faye, saying, "Seems like the wedding's over. I'm out of here."

Faye got up. She had gotten what she wanted and obviously did not want to stay any longer.

Yet just then, Yvonne came running over. She clutched Wilbur by the arm and sobbed, "Wilbur, I've messed up. Won't you forgive me? Please? Come home with me and I'll be nice to you. I'll do whatever you want. Please…"

"Forgive you?" Wilbur looked at Yvonne calmly. His expression was devoid of any emotion.

Just then, Yvonne's parents, Jackson and Miranda, had rushed over as well. They bowed deeply to Wilbur repeatedly.

"Wilbur… I mean, Mister Penn, this is all our fault. We shouldn't have believed what that b*stard Blake said. Yvonne was fooled too! Please forgive her."

"I've been an idiot, Mister Penn. I shouldn't have treated you like that. You can punish me. I'll do anything as long as you forgive Yvonne."

Wilbur looked at the two of them and sighed. "I think you've all been punished."

After saying that, Wilbur turned around to leave. Faye hurried to follow behind him.

The other guests were all leaving one by one as well without even saying goodbye.
