Lenny began to describe how he had been scammed, how he had been forced to borrow money from loan sharks with a debt that kept growing even after paying back triple the amount, and how he was forced to sign an agreement to transfer his company away from him.

Elsa showed him the statement after he was done and had him sign it.

"Lenny Detroit. Do you swear that everything you said was the truth?" Elsa asked.

Lenny said at once, "I swear! I take full responsibility for everything I've said."

Elsa said coldly, "Very well. We are now arresting you for inappropriate public behavior."

Lenny panicked at once and said, "Officer! Why are you arresting me, but not Kenji? I didn't do anything!"

Elsa said sharply, "You held a man hostage and threatened civil safety. This is the lowest form of punishment for you right now."

Lenny nodded quietly at the words, tearing up. "It's my fault, but I had no choice."

"We're going easy on you because something else caused you to act the way you did. It's a form of protection too," Elsa said.

Lenny was stunned for a moment before brightening up into a smile. "Are you going to arrest Kenji?"
