"So what? Can you offer the help Melody needs? I don't think so!" Blaine scoffed while keeping his gaze on Nash. "I think you're just delusional!"

Unwilling to argue further, Nash took Melody's hand and said, "Hey, it's time for lunch. Let's eat at our usual place!"

Melody nodded at first but later shook her head and said, "Let's go somewhere else today."

The two of them were about to leave, but Blaine went up to them and said, "Look at you, Melody. You're still having lunch at our usual place. This just proves that you still have feelings for me!"

He then turned to Nash and said haughtily, "I guess that's news for you, eh? That's our usual place for lunch. We used to eat there all the time!"

Slightly irritated, Nash frowned and said, "Melody's my girlfriend. Don't you think you're crossing the line here?"

Blaine sneered, "Do you know why Melody has stayed single all this time? It's because she still loves me. You're nothing but my substitute. You should leave her now that I'm back!"

"Unbelievable!"

Nash stared at Blaine in exasperation. He then tugged at Melody's wrist, and both of them walked away briskly.

Seeing Nash's reaction, Blaine gave a Cheshire-like smile. He got the reaction he wanted, so he decided not to provoke Nash any further.

He knew it was not good to rush things. He would just take it slow.

Tina and Elsabeth, who were eavesdropping, immediately backed away from the door when they heard footsteps approaching. They even pretended to talk to each other as if they did not hear the conversation.

Seeing Nash's stoic expression, both of them knew instantly that something was up.

"Let's go for lunch, guys!" Melody invited them for lunch.

She then wrapped her arm around Nash's arm and asked, "Hey, are you... jealous?"

Nash scoffed and replied, "Tsk. Why would I get jealous because of someone like him?"

Nash knew Melody had no feelings for Blaine, but he was still pissed off at Blaine's alpha male attitude.

Melody stifled a laugh as she thought to herself, 'Well, well. Somebody's jealous, alright. He could've just admitted it. He's so cute!'

"What do you think? It's obviously because the person who bought it is a big shot!" Austin glanced at Nash when he said this.

He had been guessing who bought the business ever since he heard about the news.

However, Austin got his answer when he heard Nash's suggestion to have lunch there.

Elsabeth stared at Nash with a look of disbelief and asked, "Is it true? Are you the one who bought the business?"

Nash smiled and said, "Well, no..."

Austin was taken aback. He thought it must have been Nash.

Nash continued, "It was given to me by a friend!"

Reaching the first floor, the five of them walked out of the elevator, with Melody and Nash leading in front. They were still holding hands.

The others trailed behind them.
