Gazing at Isadora, a smile slowly formed on Harold's face. "I assume she's your daughter?"

Harold had successfully set Arthur up with Rosella. He believed a marriage was on the way.

Driven by the lust for power, Harold reckoned the Freemans would gain even more social influence if he was able to set up another arranged marriage with the Sloans.

Isaac cursed Harold silently upon sensing his ulterior motive. Keeping a polished smile plastered on his face, he said, "Yeah, she is. Isadora, where are your manners? Hurry up and greet Mr. Freeman!"

Hershel walked toward them, bent slightly with a hand on his chest, and said, "Nice to meet you, Mr. Sloan. Please, allow me to take you to your seats."

Isadora was disgusted at his behavior.
