Mallory shook his head. “What? Justice Guild?”
Avery, looking drained, chimed in, “Those in tight suits, looking like wannabe heroes.”
“Oh, those guys. I thought I was dreaming or something...” Mallory said awkwardly.
“So, what do you all think?” Sterling asked again, and Avery immediately answered, “I’m fine with whatever. You guys decide.”
Dahlia quickly followed suit, “Me too.”
Sterling looked at the rest.
"Shouldn’t we discuss this with Mr. Hughes first?” Avery asked suddenly.
Sterling shook his head.
Lillia spoke up at that moment and asked, “I can’t trust those guys. Let’s be real—they’re still citizens of this nation. Why would they genuinely help us?”
Puelo nodded in agreement. “Regardless, we can’t just sit back and do nothing.”
Mallory voiced her uncertainty, “I don’t really know what to do, but from what I can see, they don’t have any reason to lie to us. Besides, we have no clear plan for this mission, so why not let them handle it?”
Avery nodded, agreeing with Mallory’s point of view.
“Regardless, let’s not interfere with whatever they're doing for now. Let’s observe the situation and see how it develops, shall we?”
With two votes in favor and two votes against, the deciding vote came down to Sterling.
Sterling stood up.
