The doctor kindly continued to explain, "In simple terms, there's a foreign power inside his body—it could be some sort of toxin. But when I examined him, I sensed a host within that toxin."

Clint was completely stunned. A toxin? A host? Almost everyone at the house was family—how could anyone want to harm Ronan?

"Are you sure, doctor?" Clint asked seriously, clearly not convinced by the doctor's explanation.

His family was close-knit, and it seemed impossible that such a situation could occur. Even if there were conflicts, poisoning would never be the solution.

The doctor went on, "Mr. Clint, I understand your skepticism, and honestly, I'm not entirely certain either. Perhaps it's just my limited knowledge, so I can't accurately diagnose Mr. Ronan's condition. I hope you can forgive me."

Clint did not press the elderly doctor further. After all, he was just sharing his own observations.

Regardless, the cause of Ronan's condition had been identified—another force was invading his body. What should they do now? If the old doctor could not help, who else could they turn to? They needed a top-tier doctor...

"Hey, Nash. What have you been up to lately?"

Nash was the only person Clint could think of. Although Nash had not been practicing much recently, his experience and skills were among the best in the country. Reaching out to him was definitely the right move.

"Ah, Mr. Melton," Nash answered. He was currently shopping with Sienna, fulfilling a promise to her. They had been spending a lot of time together lately.
