Lauren quickly picked up the cup of medicinal brew on the table and said, "Dad, don't be angry. Drink this medicine first!"

He then looked at Helena and Rooney and said, "It's getting late. Let’s all go back to our rooms and rest.”

“Hubert, what about Helena's birthday?” Rooney asked.

Hubert said softly, "Dad needs to rest. We’ll talk about it tomorrow.”
