It was only thanks to Vicky that they realized why Frank and Helen went to work as soon as they got back.

"What's wrong with these people? They can't bear to see others succeed or something?" Carol sighed.

Her strange behavior left Frank at a loss—Nash never told him a thing.

"Urgh, that paranoid geezer." Kat pouted again. "Fine, I'll tell you since he won't—my mother was the sacred maiden of Hundred Bane Sect."
