Fenton sighed. "The Favonis answer to the Martial Alliance. With Silverbell keeping them in line, they never made a move against you after you dealt against Jaden Favoni."

"Didn't I clear my name already? It was the Bearsons who—"

"Master Frank," Fenton stopped him, his tone stern. "Not everything is black and white for clans of martial artists. What they value above all is reputation—do you understand that?"
