The residents had really underestimated how despicable that greasy-haired middle-aged man could be.

The man then snapped his fingers as he ordered the thugs who had been waiting impatiently for a while now.

"Get them out of here!" he barked. "Kill any you can't chase away. Just start tearing down houses!"

"Yes, boss!"

The thugs menacingly started forward, metal bats and machetes in hand, ready to chase away the residents.

That was when Kat put away her phone and strode up from the back of the crowd.

"Stop!" she snapped, having her old white wig on while carrying a metal bat covered in stickers, stopping the thugs just in front of the panicking residents.

"Oh… It's Nash's girl!"

"What is she doing?! Does she want to die?!"

"Run, Kat! These men would really kill you!"

While surprised that the delinquent they always gossiped about stood before them like a heroine now, Kat's neighbors wasted no time telling her to run.

Kat did not listen, however, even shoving her metal bat heavily on the ground while glaring at the greasy-haired middle-aged man, pointing at him and snapping, "Where did you even come from? Why are you tearing down our homes?"

"Oh, we have a brat over here…" The greasy-haired middle-aged man simply chuckled, while his thugs promptly turned their sights and advanced on Kat.

"Don't you know that the Lionhearts own this place, brat?!"

"They told you to leave, so leave!"

One of the thugs grinned as he strode up to Kat, smiling in contempt and even reaching out to touch her face.

"Yeah, Nash's girlie. We should just leave."

"Being alive is much better than being dead!"

The neighbors were scrambling to dissuade Kat.

However, she only wheeled on them and bellowed, "Shut up!"

While her neighbors were left stunned, she turned back toward her cottage and said quietly, "I never liked my house, but it is my house—the place where my parents had me. That's why I'm not leaving! I'm not afraid of the Lionhearts either, but the rest of you can run all you want!"

With that, she raised her metal bat and pointed at the greasy-haired middle-aged man as she bellowed loudly, "Hey, bitch!"

"Bitch…?!"

The greasy-haired middle-aged man did a double take, clearly incensed by Kat's moniker for him, and wasted no breath right then.
