The hag nodded repeatedly and replied, "I've told you everything you wanted to know. Could you please give me a divine pill?"
As soon as she recovered from her shock, she was already scheming to get something out of this.
Frank smirked but said nothing, though the look was enough to send the hag reeling. "S-Sorry, I've misspoken! I don't need anything… Could you please spare me?"
She watched as Frank nodded and was absolutely delighted.
However, just as she pushed herself up to leave, she stopped as she noticed Frank's horrific glare.
"Is there something else?"
"I really was going to spare you," Frank growled coolly, "until you used the pronoun 'me' in my presence!"
"Huh?!"
The hag definitely did not expect Frank to get upset about that.
Even though she knew she must correct herself, it was already too late—Frank had seized her with telekinesis and flung her into the fissure she made!
Calling herself a sage with her hideousness—Frank would have been throwing up if he did not have a strong constitution.
Upstairs, the ladies were laughing themselves silly as they watched.
When it came to beating superstition, Frank was really the best!
Then, as if to respond to their approval, Frank released his glow and fixed the road while turning toward the tourists on their knees. "Stand up! Remember—those so-called divine beings are just humans, if only a little stronger. Logic is the only truth!"
Everyone studied Frank even as he spoke—he was so handsome that even A-list stars had trouble keeping up.
At their level, they would have sensed even the quietest breeze, but strangely, the brat's movement seemed to surpass that!
"You're the champion Crewcut mentioned?"
One of them had a squint, but it only magnified his sense of superiority.
"Cut the crap." Frank snorted in annoyance. "Are you the ones who killed him?"
Squint smirked. "So what if we are? Did you think we'd break like that hag?"
Frank shook his head. "I wouldn't think that. But while you're stronger than he is, you're still small fry compared to me."
And he would not shy from showing his strength to such wicked people!
