The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage romance Capítulo 2797

"There's always a bigger fish, as they say. Obviously, the geezer is no pushover and is one of those fighter monks.

"I'm surprised that someone that horrific exists in a quiet place like this. Guess he's what they call a sage of the land."

While the nightclub guests were chatting nonchalantly, the manager was hardly as relaxed as them.

Seeing that the bar's best fighters were defeated so easily, he turned to run.

The beggar smirked and suddenly stomped his foot on the floor tiles, launching the shards at the manager.

Bang!

For some reason, the tiles exploded into dust just before they reached the manager!

The crowd was stunned. Were there more martial elites around here?

While they were stunned, a man strode in through the entrance, and it was none other than Frank himself!

Beside him floated another man, Squint, who was absolutely thrilled to see his mentor!

"Master!" he promptly cried out. "He killed four of us! You must avenge them!"

Then, wheeling on Frank, he gloated, "There he is—my mentor! Know your place and let me go, and we'll let you rest in one piece, or he'll have you rest in pieces!"

Frank pricked his ears. "You people are so uncivilized. It's always the same threats—I swear my ears are growing calluses by now."

Nearby, the manager exclaimed, "You can't win against them, kid! And it's not your problem—just leave!"

Frank smiled, shaking his head. "No, this has everything to do with me. That beggar is the reason I'm here, and I apologize for causing trouble."

The manager sighed, not interested in Frank.

Even if that really was the case, Frank was not the one who had the beggar attack them.

But to think that he commanded the skies… That was just scary!

"Calm down. It's just a cheap trick that would bully the kids. Nothing to brag about against me!"

Frank suddenly spoke, and the lightning bolt faded as if it was never there.

The beggar laughed. "Impressive—I didn't expect this much from you. To be honest, being a martial artist would be a waste of your talent. Why don't you kowtow to me, and I'll take you in as my apprentice?"

Frank laughed right then. "Oh, stop it. Look yourself in the mirror before you speak like that—do you even look like a mentor?!"

His taunting left the beggar furious, but he repressed the rage inside.

While others would not be able to see, he could see as clear as day that Frank had reason to be arrogant. Unlike the rest, he was extraordinary in talent and any other department.

It would not be an exaggeration for the beggar to say that Frank could match his younger self and was so much more impressive than his apprentices.
