It was always easy to buy statues, but when one moved or had to leave, said statues end up in religious places. After all, if one was superstitious enough to buy one, they would be superstitious enough to believe in divine retribution if they threw it like garbage.

The hall was quite dank and had poor lighting—even Lofty found the sight of all those statues creepy.

"Is that all it takes to scare you?" Frank chuckled. "The worst is yet to come."

Then, he shouted on top of his lungs, "Show yourself!"

At his call, one of the statues shone blindingly, and a hollow spirit with the statue's appearance rose to its feet!

The sight of the hollow entity that stood over thirteen feet tall left Lofty wondering if he had just seen a real god, and his knees started to shake, almost dropping.

While Frank quickly caught him, he smirked at the spirit. "If my hunch is right, you're not human, are you?"

Lofty composed himself right then—right, there were superior beings in existence!

With that in mind, he charged at the spirit, only for it to wave its hand, sending Lofty flying even before it touched him.

Fortunately, Frank caught Lofty with telekinesis before he slammed into the wall and got maimed or killed!

If anything, Frank was surprised since Lofty was quite strong himself, and it only made it clear how much stronger the spirit was.

"Well, since I'll make someone very happy if I capture you alive…"

Frank waved his hand, and the spirit faded right away, while the statue where it emerged shattered.

And a weasel flew out of it!

Lofty was shocked.

He knew Frank was unmatched in strength, but he still did not expect something like this.

Lofty quickly asked, "What is it?"

Frank chuckled before the girl could speak. "What else do you think? A certain someone just came back! Perfect timing, though—time to meet her!"

Knocking out the weasel, he levitated a divine statue toward himself and shoved it inside before inscribing a rune on it.

Passing it to Lofty, he said, "Keep both eyes on this thing. It's really rare, so don't lose it!"

Lofty protested, "But I'd never win against it!"

Frank chuckled. "Don't worry—my restraints are strong enough, as long as you don't break the statue."

Then, not even bothered to walk, he promptly flew away.

The girl then quickly asked Lofty, "Could he be some sort of god who descended upon the mortal realm?"
