Frank shook his head. "You can do it yourself!
"Revitalizing a school is no small feat. And I'm a slacker who hates such stuff, so please understand. Bang!"
As Frank finished, he did not wait for Hilarion to be surprised and pointed at him with a finger gun, launching a radiance into his body and healing his withering organs.
Hilarion was at once surprised and delighted. "Makes sense—if you could regenerate my limbs, it's natural you could heal my internal injuries. However, I'm convinced as I am from the start that I don't deserve such a blessing!"
"No, you do, and don't worry about it." Frank chuckled. "Get back on your feet and revitalize your school—I shall await the day when your name stirs waves."
Just then, the other apprentices of Skywide School stormed in, all of them staring blankly when they saw Hilarion's state.
He had been taken ill for a long while now, and the apprentices would fight the monsters coming out of him—albeit only able to suppress them. It was only natural they were left in disbelief to see those same monsters frozen mid-motion!
And they did not have to guess who did it either—it had to be the youth who proclaimed that he wiped out the lotus sitter's gang!
The apprentices were really doubtful about his claims at first, even considering him a braggart.
It turned out that they had been ignorant—he really was not on the same level.
A younger apprentice squeezed his way through the others just then, announcing, "Master, someone is asking to see you!"
"Who is it?"
"He calls himself Corus Lindt, an old friend!"
"Show him in!"
"Yes, master!"
Soon, the apprentice led a hunched geezer into the villa.
Everyone laughed. "Don't get so full of yourself, old-timer! You can push us around, but do you think you're a supreme being or something?"
"Of course!" Corus bellowed proudly and stamped his feet, almost gently.
A force unfurled out of nowhere, knocking down the twentyish apprentices present, with the weakest coughing blood.
Seeing that, Hilarion could not help feeling angry, but there was nothing he could do.
After all, the blame lay in himself. Not only was he weaker, but he was also the one who had asked for Corus' help to dispel his curse.
Corus then turned to Frank again, clearly surprised. "Impressive, brat! You could actually withstand my blow!"
Frank shrugged. "Don't know if I can make an impression, but I know for sure that I won't attack others for their ignorance, unlike you."
