Frank chuckled. "Is there anything that you really fear? And your equipment should detect it anyway."

Yancy realized with a start.

With her equipment turned on, it should have detected anyone's presence.

However, she was getting nothing—not even thermal work despite the voice being so close!

She soon had a thought. "Maybe like that woman in the cave, they are capable of soul projection?"

"And they're better at it!" Frank chuckled before calling out loudly, "That's enough. Spare us the theatrics and show yourself!"

There was a sinister gust of wind as over a dozen black-robed individuals appeared, laughing as they studied Frank and Yancy.

"Watch out," Yancy murmured under her breath. "This bunch is much stronger than the woman in that cave."

That sent Yancy flying into a rage. "It doesn't matter how strong he is. Come at me first!"

Whipping out her remote, she pressed a button.

The door to her lab opened, and an android over sixteen feet tall flew out.

It looked more like a tank than an android, however, as it was lined from head to toe with various artillery barrels.

The woman was not cowed, however, even laughing coldly. "Come to think of it, I should thank you, or I wouldn't have been able to understand the joys of an android!

"However, it looks cool but is actually pointless, like getting a toilet made of pure gold."

"So, I could only hope that your android isn't that weak," she finished, and turned to a rascal. "Go!"
