"What…"
Even if she knew that there was no hope now, Lucy could not help showing despair again when she saw the thugs congesting Mr. Moore's office and the hallway.
Forget Mr. Moore—even each of the Ghostwatchers were heads and shoulders taller than Frank, and their muscles were almost bulging to freakish proportions.
They could probably break an oak tree trunk with their bare hands, let alone a normal person's leg.
And seeing that all the Ghostwatchers were here, Mr. Moore laughed coolly. "Brat! Go down on your knees and beg, and I just might let you die painlessly!"
"No, I'll pass—I'm in a rush." Frank remained unaffected, let alone scared by The Ghosters' laughter.
If anything, he still retained that unfathomable composure, which left Mr. Moore gritting his teeth.
"Kill him!" he bellowed and waved his hand, unable to stop his rage just then.
The Ghostwatchers laughed viciously as they charged at Frank, one of them even dissing, "Just look at those scrawny limbs, brat. I'll string you up like a rope!"
"Really?"
Frank turned, his eyes flashing at the Ghostwatchers.
The man's smile quickly faded, and his eyes soon widened in horror. "What—"
Crack!
"What? Is this all it takes to scare you?"
Frank looked around at them with a serene smile, as if he did not kill the man laying by his feet, bleeding from the throat.
"Heavens…" Lucy's mouth was a wide 'O' just then, as she did not expect such ridiculous power from Frank!
She was ready to die after Zac betrayed her, only for Frank to show his real chops, dispatching a Ghostwatcher in a single stroke.
It was simply ridiculous—they were talking about the Ghostwatchers here, Ghost's personal guards who were the strongest, barring Ghost himself.
But one of them did not last a second against Frank!
