Joelle screamed, "Don't call the cops!" But before she knew it, a brutal slap landed on her face.

"Is it your turn to talk now, b*tch?" That man was pissed, so after he was done slapping her, he couldn't resist kicking her too.

But before he could react, Darius sneaked up behind him and broke his fingers with a crisp snap. He then pulled Joelle close and stepped back.

"F*cking hell! Fine, I don't want anything anymore. Get them!" Scarface was seething, the pain in his fingers making him forget about Darius and their deal.

Some of the men, who already didn't like Darius, grabbed their weapons and started attacking him.

Darius fought back while trying to protect Joelle, but he was outnumbered. When a knife slashed his leg, he groaned and dropped to his knees.

"Dar!" Joelle knelt beside him, watching the blood flow. But she could do nothing.

"Yo, he's injured." Scarface walked over, kicking Joelle aside as she sobbed. He squatted down, holding a dagger and tapping it lightly on Darius's face. "Weren't you tough earlier? Why so quiet now?"

Darius knelt on the ground, the ripping pain almost rendering him speechless.
