He actually felt exasperated at that—Drunken Moon had seen his powers too but never felt defeated by that. Why was that lady so fragile?

With that in mind, Frank asked Drunken Moon, "Do you understand where she's coming from?"

Drunken Moon nodded confidently. "Actually, I know that all too well! To be honest, I basically gave up after witnessing the extent of your power, but I'm not a stickler and didn't lose faith despite that… though one might even say that I never had faith.

"If I were to be honest, I really respect that lady."

Frank nodded and sighed— there were times when being too strong can be terrible, hurting so many without him knowing!

"Well, I've decided," he said, nodding. "I'll try to be more careful from now on, or just refrain from fighting with witnesses watching."

Drunken Moon laughed. "In that case, I'm sure people would start believing in the paranormal before long."

Frank rolled his eyes. "Are you suggesting that not doing anything at all is the way to be polite to everyone?"

Drunken Moon quickly shook her head. "You have the power, and it's victims who benefit from it. Why consider how they feel when you have the veto? And it's the living's beliefs that would be crushed—just like that lady. Would she care if she's dead?

"Don't shackle yourself, and just live with a clear conscience. Moreover, you're doing good."

Frank could not help agreeing with Drunken Moon's words—she really had an interesting way of looking at things, and Frank himself had really misjudged it.
