Still, the hag calmed down just as she finished. "Well, I guess it's understandable. You're the first opponent whom I can't even budge, so you do have reason for your insolence.
"Very well… It's time to teach you something new. I shall defeat you even if it burns my essence!"
"Then do it." Frank beckoned at her with his index finger. "Why talk so much?"
It left the hag furious again—this was the first time she had ever been so thoroughly belittled!
She closed her eyes and started chanting an incarnation.
Blood streamed around her as her figure started shrinking, not stopping even after she regressed from her beefcake form.
Soon, she was just skin and bones, looking like she was on her deathbed!
Shocked, the captive girl exclaimed, "What is she doing? Is she going to kill herself?"
Lofty shook his head. "I don't know what she's doing, but her abilities are rocketing to the next level!"
"Really?!"
The captive girl did not get it, but she decided that the marvels of martial arts were not something she could understand.
It probably just did not look like a cool move, but it was powerful nonetheless!
On the other hand, Frank was delighted. "I won't lie. You're the only one who impressed me for a while… Acquiring such divine strength despite your mortal form? Surely you won't feel shame in death!"
The hag laughed icily. "There's no telling who's going to die yet!"
And with those words, she leapt into the skies.
Suddenly, with a deafening bang, ravines tore through the ground over miles around, and the ground seemed to sink!
Lofty was dumbstruck—that was just the recoil generated from when the hag leapt into the air.
In other words, her strength was now unmatched!
Eventually, she punched a hole through Frank's chest where his heart was, the force of the shockwave tearing down her temple behind Frank!
Both Lofty and the captive girl were terrified, while the hag laughed maniacally. "You really thought you were better, didn't you?! Well, you've screwed up now!
"You see, there's always someone better who would make you pay for your conceit. Never go too far if you feel even a sliver of doubt!"
Frank smirked. "Well said. I hope you can still say that soon."
His words left the hag stunned, and she turned pale when she saw that the color on Frank's cheeks never faded.
No, that was impossible—she had destroyed his heart! How could he still be alive?!
Wait, was his heart perhaps on the right side of his chest instead of the left like most people?
She leaned in for a look at the thought, only for Frank to flick her forehead, sending her crashing down to the ground.
