The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage romance Capítulo 2851

Yancy was absolutely perplexed. "How did you do that?"

Frank chuckled. "Do you believe in the paranormal?"

Yancy shook her head confidently.

The paranormal and science were two completely contradictory subjects.

Strictly speaking, anything that could be seen with the naked eye or directly affected the physical plane was not paranormal. Still, while science was fundamentally a counter-thesis to mysticism, anything that worked within a system of logic fell within its jurisdiction.

Frank shrugged. "It's good if you don't believe it. I don't myself—but I am using a paranormal technique to conjure that fingerprint, which was supposed to be erased."

Yancy was utterly confused. "What does that mean?"

Frank explained, "I'm not sure if you've seen bodies of energy resembling spirits, but they linger within a body, retaining the deceased's last thoughts to a certain extent!"

Yancy nodded in understanding.

There was some form of energy that lingered within the deceased.

But with Frank's help, it could now affect reality, and thereby showed Frank the fingerprint!

"If we're to believe the superstitious, I guess you could call it a wraith?" she pointed out.

Frank nodded and sent Jouri the fingerprint, as well as a photo of the corpse.

With that done, they took a stroll and chose the first restaurant they saw.

While Frank never cared if the food was good, Yancy herself was more or less the same since she was a workaholic. In fact, she would miss meals because of work, often resorting to snacks, so neither were too bothered.

However, just as they were about to finish, the owner yelped from the kitchen out back!

Frank smiled as he went over and saw a fine knife that was somehow in the trash can. It was caked with blood, and one could even see finger joints on it.

He had slight OCD and would always take the trash out every day, even if there was not much.

In other words, he just had to start from last night!

However, as the owner watched the security footage, he realized that something was wrong.

What the hell?!

He was the only one who appeared in the kitchen camera, and no one else!

That was not the weirdest part either, as they eventually reached the moment the knife appeared.

And as it turned out, it was the knife that had put itself in the trash can, floating slowly into it instead of being thrown.

Horrified, the owner instinctively leaned toward Frank. "Please don't tell me this is real, man. I mean, is my restaurant really being haunted in broad daylight?!"
