The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage romance Capítulo 2888

"No… Stop!"

A blood-curdling scream could be heard even as Mr. Moore watched Lucy close in, machete in hand…

-

As Frank strode out to the business district just beyond the alley, Frank noticed a familiar figure standing beside his Audi.

Naturally, it could only be Zac, who was shocked to see him at all. "What…"

Still, he quickly hid that shock with an unnatural look of anger as he strode up and seized Frank's collar, bellowing, "You brat! Where's my girlfriend?!"

Frank's chauffeur was ready to jump in, but Frank held up a hand to stop him while he stared at Zac impassively. "Your girlfriend?"

"No, why are you still alive?! Where's Lucy?! Where's my girlfriend?! What did you do to her?!"

Zac continued to rave in agony. "If anything happens, I'll kill you… I'll kill you, you hear me?!"

Bystanders around them all started stopping to look, as it appeared to be a quarrel over a woman, and they were right outside a hotel.

"You should be asking yourself that," Frank said calmly nonetheless. "You betrayed your sister and your girlfriend just to save your own skin. Did you think that trash like you get to question me?"

"What…"

Zac did not expect Frank to know that—not when only a handful of those from The Ghosters and their executives are aware!

He even blurted, "Y-You mean, you've met M-Mr. Moore—"

"He's dead now." Lucy strode out of the alley just then, glowering and with her palm covered in blood.

"W-What?! Lucy…?!"

"Are you done?" Frank asked, impassive.

"Yeah." Lucy nodded.

Frank reclined against his seat and said quietly, "I'm going after Ghost now. You don't have to follow."

"No. I want my revenge, even if—"

"Don't bother lying to yourself, Lucy… Or should I say, Skyler Dawn?"

Frank suddenly smiled enigmatically. "Tell me, what do you really want with Ghost?"

Lucy was taken aback and remained silent for a long while.

Eventually, she growled, "How did you find out? No… How did you get my real name?!"
