A cold, bitter smirk pulled at the corner of Sienna's lips as her hand slowly curled into a tight fist at her side. She silently cursed Wesley Vance for being such a useless failure; if he had succeeded, this bitch Winona would already be dead.
Winona walked over, casually grabbed the framed wedding photo, and shoved it into a drawer. "Mr. Shaw just had his legs examined today. He can't be moved around, so we have to do it here. He already agreed to it himself, so stop wasting my time."
Sienna snapped her head toward Zachary, only to find him completely silent.
He had taken off his suit jacket, looking entirely different from the cold, ruthless CEO of Shaw Group everyone was used to.
Sienna ground her teeth. This interview video was going to cause a massive headache!
But thankfully, she already knew exactly how to handle it.
She had to take things step by step; she couldn't expose her true intentions too early.
With a heavy, long-suffering sigh, she relented. "Alright. Zachary, I'll wait for you guys over there."
With that, she walked over to the window and took a seat.
The bedroom was massive. Even though the interview background was just a corner of the wardrobe, it was glaringly obvious that everything in the frame cost a fortune.
Winona quickly reviewed her questions, tapped the record button on her phone, and walked over to take her seat.
There was no wheelchair in the frame, just two chairs.
The nightstand was completely bare. The wedding photo was out of sight.
Winona flashed a flawless professional smile at the camera, then turned to Zachary, offering a standard, polite introduction.
In truth, she absolutely despised these types of corporate interviews. She never had to do this in her old job; all she had to do was relentlessly expose the truth.
She rolled through the first five questions smoothly, and Zachary provided his signature brief, clipped answers.
Up to this point, everything was going perfectly.
But just as she reached the final question, Bluebell suddenly darted out from under the bed and began rubbing affectionately against Zachary's ankles.
Zachary leaned down and scooped the cat into his lap. A rare flicker of warmth touched his eyes, and the faintest hint of a smile ghosted his lips.
