She went downstairs, where Mrs. Yates had already prepared breakfast.
Winona asked casually, "Did Zachary come back last night?"
Mrs. Yates shook her head, respectfully setting out the silverware. "Mr. Shaw hasn't been back since he left yesterday."
Winona figured as much. The man was likely caught up in a passionate reunion with Sienna, and the Wynn household was probably in complete chaos this morning.
She couldn't bring herself to care. She casually ate the food on her plate while scrolling through her phone.
A message popped up. Sienna had used an unknown number to send a photo of two hands overlapping, the messy bedsheets clearly visible in the background.
The implication was obvious.
Winona instantly lost her appetite.
She leaned back in her chair just as the front door opened. Zachary had returned.
His expression was freezing, and pushing his wheelchair was Jude Preston.
Jude was laughing, entirely unfazed by the icy aura radiating from the man in the chair. When he looked up and saw Winona, he offered a bright smile. "Well, good morning! The internet is tearing itself apart, and you still have the mood to sit here and eat."
Zachary clearly found him irritating. "You can get the hell out now," he said coldly.
Jude hurried over to the dining table and glanced at Mrs. Yates. "Could I get a fork and a plate, please? I worked overtime all night, had to go pick someone up this morning, and haven't even had time to grab a bite."
Mrs. Yates quickly hurried off to fetch the extra tableware.
Zachary rolled his chair over to Winona's side. The moment he got close, a cloying, sickly-sweet women's perfume wafted over.
It was the exact scent Sienna always wore.
Winona kept her face blank, rushing to take a few more bites of her food before Jude spoke up again.
"By the way, Winona, did you know Zach studied computer science and fintech abroad?"
She had no idea why he was bringing this up out of nowhere.
Jude propped his chin on his hand, looking like a man ready for a show. "You didn't know? He's a famous genius in the field."
Winona finished the hot milk in her glass, stood up, and grabbed her purse from the sofa to leave.
