Winona had long grown accustomed to Julian's behavior. She turned to the silent dealership employee who had just been shoved. "Are you alright?"

The young man seemed to attend the same university as Julian. He looked young, clearly a college student working a part-time job, and had likely been targeted by Julian on campus.

"I'm fine, thank you."

He offered a polite reply before turning and walking away.

Winona had no interest in getting involved any further. In the past, if Quincy hadn't ordered her to, she never would have bothered with Julian in the first place.

Now that she was no longer a part of the Wynn family, she naturally wanted to keep as much distance as possible from entitled brats like him.

Driving her new car back to the villa, she noticed a text message from Logan Quinn.

[Ma'am, I had the kitchen prepare lunch for the Boss. Could you please bring it over?]

Logan handled everything for Zachary. Since Logan was currently in a coastal city, Zachary's meals were restricted to whatever the hospital provided.

But Zachary had notoriously refined tastes when it came to food and clothing; he likely couldn't stomach hospital food.

Winona felt that she and Zachary mutually despised the sight of one another right now. If they saw each other, it would only lead to an awkward, suffocating silence.

So she typed a reply.

[Let Sienna know. She'd probably love to drop it off.]

[Miss Shaw is also hospitalized.]

Logan replied instantly.

Winona nodded in realization. No wonder he had asked her.

She went into the kitchen, grabbed the prepped lunchbox, and drove over to the hospital.

But as she approached Zachary's room, she heard Sienna's voice drift out into the hallway. "Zachary, have some fruit."

Zachary's gaze drifted toward the door. It was unclear what he saw, but his fingers paused slightly over his keyboard.

Even in his condition, he was still working.

Winona quickly ducked out of sight and handed the lunchbox to a passing nurse. "This is food from his family. Could you take it in for him?"

She wasn't so clueless as to barge in and ruin their private moment.

The nurse hesitated but nodded in agreement.

Sienna was sweetly peeling fruit for Zachary when she saw the nurse walk in with a lunchbox.

"Mr. Shaw, your family sent this food for you."
