Those words were brutally harsh.

Ruby instantly gripped the documents, her entire body trembling with rage.

Winona hit the nail on the head. "Right now, the whole internet is tearing me apart, and you're here causing trouble for me. For your husband, this is the perfect opportunity to go on a date with his mistress. Want to go track them down?"

Ruby took a deep breath. "If you're lying to me, I swear I'll make you pay."

Winona hated threats, so she kept her tone perfectly even. "Get up, Mrs. Shelton. Let's go."

She handled things with such clean efficiency that it naturally commanded trust.

Almost instinctively, Ruby stood up and followed her out the door.

Night had already fallen, and Winona seemed to know exactly where the Deputy Director was meeting his lover, driving them straight to the location.

Pulling up to the villa, they saw Harvey's car parked right outside.

The two of them were probably too excited tonight; they hadn't even rolled up the car windows, leaving everything in plain sight.

Winona pulled out her phone and started recording, capturing both Harvey's and the woman's faces with perfect clarity.

Ruby's face went deathly pale, looking thoroughly nauseated.

The pair couldn't even wait to get inside, aggressively hooking up right there in the front seat until the car itself began to rock.

Unfortunately, the Deputy Director's stamina was pathetic; he couldn't even last a single minute.

After his embarrassingly quick release, Harvey smugly wrapped an arm around the woman and led her out of the car and into their love nest, looking like a man on top of the world.

Winona slowly drove away, dropping Ruby off at her house first.

When Ruby stepped out of the car, she could barely stand straight. The moment she reached the curb, she crouched down and began to vomit, clearly utterly devastated by the shock.

A toxic marriage was like a festering wound; the only way to heal was to ruthlessly carve out the rotting flesh.
