But Nina kept moving forward.

She stopped, turned around, and gave him a sad smile. The wind whipped around her, making her thin frame seem even more fragile. "You're the only person I have, Luther. If you don't want me around, what's the point of living?"

"I don't want to die, Luther! I don't want the sea to take me!" Nina cried, now deeper in the water. "Help!" Her voice was full of panic.

As the water pushed her around, Nina regretted walking so far out.
