Esther had never thought James would stop trying to see her. Before this, he would talk to her at least once a day, even when she pushed him away.

Now, it had been a week since he last reached out, and Esther found herself feeling a bit sad and bored.

"No, what am I thinking?" Esther shook her head, trying to dismiss the thought. "Shouldn't I be happy he's not bothering me? Why do I miss him?"

Esther was frustrated with herself. When James was crazy about her, she didn't care for him; now that he was leaving her alone, she felt upset.

During her film shoot, Esther kept forgetting her lines, puzzling the director.

"What's going on, Esther? You're usually spot on. What's up today?"

Esther scratched her head, feeling helpless. "I'm just off my game today. Let me try a few more takes."

Fletcher, who had overheard the conversation, quickly brought over a glass of water. "Take it easy, no rush. Drink this and relax. We can shoot again once you're ready."

Fletcher was always kind, so Esther didn't think twice and drank the water. But then, she grimaced as her stomach started to hurt. The pain was intense, making her double over.

"It's just my period…" She said with an awkward smile.

Fletcher chuckled, relieved, and set her down. Though the situation was clear now, he still looked concerned. "Do you need anything?"

Esther wanted to send her assistant instead, but she couldn't find her, so she asked Fletcher for help.

When he returned, he had a bag in one hand and a cup of warm, dark brown water in the other.
