After class, Joelle decided not to go straight home. Instead, she turned around and headed to a piano shop.

"Hey, isn't this Elle? It's been a long time since you came here to play the piano," Easton Windward said, picking up a clean white cloth to gently wipe a piano. When he looked up and saw Joelle, he grinned.

Easton, the shop's owner, was an old friend of Joelle's. Two years ago, when Joelle was upset about something related to Darius, she discovered a love for playing the piano.

Although Joelle had a very expensive piano at home, imported from abroad, she loved to sneak out to the piano shop to play. Her noble and graceful demeanor attracted many people's attention when playing the piano.

The shop made great profits on the days Joelle played there. Grateful, Easton bought her a meal and struck a deal with her. Joelle would occasionally come to play the piano to help increase the shop's popularity, and in exchange, she could play there anytime for free.

However, after starting high school, Joelle rarely had time to visit the shop. She spent most of her time at home doing homework, playing only a few notes on her piano at home.

A rare and sincere smile appeared on her face. "I would like to play the piano here because I need to get ready for a show."

Easton was instantly enlightened. He waved casually. "You can pick any piano you want and play any song you like. Oh, by the way, do you need me to send the best piano to your performance?"

"Thanks. I'm afraid my profits for today will reach a new high," he teased, though it was true. The shop was now bustling with people interested in buying instruments.

Easton became busy with the influx of customers, leaving Joelle to herself. She wanted to play another song, but when she checked her watch, she saw it was almost seven o'clock. It was getting late, and she needed to head home.

Joelle grabbed her backpack and was about to leave when a familiar, arrogant voice called out, "Hey, what are you doing here?"

Startled, Joelle looked up to see the troublemaker Dante with a woman in his arms.
