Without hesitation, Richard nodded matter-of-factly. "You've been serving as the vice president for a while now. Why wouldn't you continue?"

"What about Sean?"

"Sean will return to work as well. There's nothing wrong with having two vice presidents in a company. Are you worried that he'll take your place? It's alright. He told me to let you handle all the work while he enjoys the title. You'll still end up with all the work."

Pearl frowned. "Are you treating me as an employee?"
