The online war of words was already escalating, but with Sienna's sudden fainting spell, it was like throwing water into a pot of boiling oil. The internet exploded.
Sienna had over seven million followers on social media, and they were fiercely protective of her.
In the blink of an eye, Winona's photos were photoshopped into funeral portraits, and the abuse rolled in like a tidal wave.
But Winona worked fast. On her way to the dealership, she registered a burner social media account. She had already completed the lawsuit documents, which the court system had forwarded to the defendant. Since the defendant worked at the TV station, Winona had access to all her personal information once the lawsuit was filed. Without hesitation, she posted a screenshot of the lawsuit targeting the rumor-monger.
The account spreading the rumors was incredibly active, firing off non-stop posts about Winona for hours.
"She's a serial cheater, just used goods that no one wants. Sure, she's pretty, but no one around her dares to date her. Who knows what kind of diseases she has? I can literally smell the stench when she walks past me."
"Her mom was a maid for the Wynn family. To give her own daughter a better life, she had the guts to swap the babies. You can only say Sienna suffered a senseless tragedy. But she's lucky she met Zachary, he spoils her rotten."
The account kept spewing gossip until Winona tagged her directly, calling her out in public.
"This is Winona. Your information has been exposed. You'd better not delete your posts. I know exactly who you are."
She attached the lawsuit document, with only the most critical personal information redacted.
Beyond that, Winona didn't say another word.
Yet, her post quickly caught everyone's attention. Her account nickname was—Jacaranda.
"Is this really Winona? The nerve to register a social media account right now, how shameless!"
"Why don't you go die?! How dare you show your face?!"
"Stop polluting the name Jacaranda, you don't deserve it. Get the hell out of Empire City, you're disgusting!"
Winona ignored the insults and immediately posted a second update, once again tagging the rumor account.
"This is my law degree from Capital University. You claimed we went to the same school and were roommates? Funny, the records I pulled say you graduated from a vocational school."
