Though it was nearly midnight, the frenzy on the internet was far from over.

Harvey's and the real mistress's social media accounts were utterly decimated, racking up over a hundred thousand hateful comments in record time.

Harvey had planned to use poor Winona as a scapegoat while he continued enjoying the best of both worlds. Instead, his home life had exploded, his reputation was in ruins, and both of his children were cutting ties with him.

His wife might not care anymore, but losing his kids was devastating. They were moving abroad with Ruby, effectively abandoning him as their father forever.

For years, Harvey had run wild outside while Ruby maintained the illusion of a perfect family at home.

He had even felt smug about it, thinking he was lucky to have married such a capable woman whose parents had died early, leaving her entirely dependent on him.

But now, Ruby refused to keep up the charade. By exposing his true colors to their children, Harvey's paternal authority was pulverized. All he saw in their eyes was pure, unadulterated disgust.

His son and daughter stood united with Ruby, refusing to even look at him.

The divorce papers had already been served. Unable to handle the catastrophic fall from grace, Harvey realized this was all because of Wesley and Grace.

Wesley had the backing of the powerful Lockwood family in Empire City, making him untouchable. But was Grace untouchable? Absolutely not.

Driven to absolute desperation, Harvey quickly typed out another post.

"My previous post was made under intense coercion from Grace Montgomery and a certain executive. They threatened to expose my affair to my wife if I didn't comply. I had no other choice. I am deeply remorseful and beg for my wife's forgiveness."

The internet was appalled by his sheer audacity. To still beg for forgiveness after all that just proved how much unearned confidence Ruby had given him over the years.

Seeing the post, Grace panicked and immediately called him.

"Harvey, it was Wesley who threatened you! What does this have to do with me?!"
