Sienna was practically ecstatic. Cynthia already despised Winona, and with Winona acting like this, Cynthia's anger would only skyrocket.

She quickly looped her arm through Cynthia's. "Maybe she really did lose her mind. I'm honestly worried she'll ruin Zachary's luck. Three years ago, I had someone look into his future, and they said he would keep rising higher, as long as he was careful about the people closest to him."

Elite families always bought into that kind of superstition; they even hired professional feng shui masters to bless their properties.

And it was true that Zachary's success had skyrocketed over the last three years. Standing in this very building and looking out, almost all the surrounding properties belonged to the Shaw Group. Their expansion rate had been aggressive.

As soon as Winona—that jinx—left, the company thrived. The "person closest to him" had to be Winona, right?

Cynthia had always felt that the woman was too desperate, lacking any sense of feminine grace.

She took a deep breath and patted the back of Sienna's hand. "I need to make Zachary divorce that lunatic immediately, before she drags him down."

Sienna's heart leapt, a smile curving her lips.

Cynthia carried the laptop upstairs to Zachary's office, not missing the chance to trash Winona along the way. "Right in front of Sienna, she had the nerve to curse her entire family to die. She clearly doesn't appreciate everything the Wynns have done for her. What an ungrateful wretch."

Zachary stared at the laptop for a few seconds before quietly taking it. "She wired the Wynn family millions of dollars to sever all ties."

Cynthia scoffed. "Does she think a few million is enough to pay them off? She used the Wynn family's connections to meet all these influential people, and she even managed to marry you."

Zachary opened the laptop, his tone flat. "If you think the Wynns got a bad deal, you can hire a lawyer and help them sue her."

Cynthia had always known her son was rigidly unsentimental, but the sharp retort still felt like a punch to the chest. "Are you defending her? Zachary, I never approved of this marriage to begin with. Now that she's finally back, you need to use this window of time to divorce her immediately."

Zachary's fingers flew across the keyboard. Sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a glow over his shoulders, but it did nothing to soften his icy demeanor. "The divorce papers are already signed."

Hearing this, Cynthia let out a massive sigh of relief. She had genuinely feared her son actually had feelings for Winona.

Now it was obvious that he only married her back then because she had been relentlessly clinging to him.

Standing nearby, Sienna flushed with excitement. They signed the papers that fast?
